Alder Lodge Guest House provided my friends and me with a delightful stay during our recent trip from June 5-10. The friendliness and accommodating nature of the owners truly made us feel at home, particularly when they allowed an early check-in after our early morning ferry arrival. Our twin room was spacious, featuring a cozy bathroom complete with a shower, a hairdryer, and all the comforts we needed, including an electric kettle for our morning coffee. The highlight was undoubtedly the breakfast - a superb array of hot and cold dishes, served by the incredibly attentive staff who genuinely know how to start the day right! With a perfect location just a short stroll from the town center, Alder Lodge is an easy choice for anyone visiting Shetland. I can't wait to return!
